$%*# toe!

In June, my daughter crashed into me while wearing cleats and ripped off half my toenail. I refrained from fainting, and did a post wondering why my vasovagal syndrome is so much more profound when I hurt a toe than when I hurt any other part of me. Today, I got a chance to prove once again that my toes are my Achilles heel when my son crashed into me while wearing his roller shoes and ripped off half of the same toenail. Bigger injury, more blood, and much more serious effort on my part to faint. Again, the pain was nothing extraordinary; it was just that toe thing. Go figure!
