What lefties call aggression in little boys is no more than the “aggression” puppies show to each other when they wrestle and romp. The top dog or pack leader (a little Cesar Millan lingo here) emerges from these early harmless struggles. All dogs are comfortable with this because it’a leaderless packs that lead to real aggression and real fights.

Like puppies, boys are naturally rough and tumble. That’s how they learn to be strong men, you know, the type despised by the teachers unions, feminists and girly men. Boys aren’t built to sit in a classroom hour after hour like girl do. Boys need physical activity and lots of it.

Teachers and others who work with kids need to be able to distinguish between aggression that is pathological and the normal behavior of boys . . . and for God’s sake let’s give boys plenty of opportunities to use their boundless energy and stop medicating them for being normal.

Boys need to be taught what I call the “language of aggression”. That is a language that males *must* know in order to become good men. And in my experience, fathers are best equipped to teach that language.

My sons’ friends who have weak fathers who don’t impose discipline tend to be little monsters.

Too much aggression makes one type of monster out of a child. Too little makes a different type.
