When the Southerners went Republican, lead by Reagan, did this have any effect on the Jews in America? Is the Jewish culture too conservative, then? Meaning, do they find change to be difficult? If it ain't broke, don't fix it philosophy. It sort of reminds me of Calvinism 18th century. Very industrious, but a little bit conservative and predestination based. How a people and culture can be so industrious, yet the individuals in it can be so blind to the ramifications of their politics. [Dichotomy between barbarians and civilizations] I am refering of course, to Israel and the Jew's focus on "peace, prosperity, and [X]". An American Jacksonian or just an American would say "peace comes with victory, or we win first then we argue". It is quite a different national character when comparing Americans to Israelis. Surely their military has some martial spirit, they would not be able to win without it. But is that enough to transform an entire culture, a Jewish culture, into a ruthless war machine that defeats enemies first then makes peace with them? It is strange, you know. I am refering of course, to Israel and the Jew’s focus on “peace, prosperity, and [X]“. An American Jacksonian or just an American would say “peace comes with victory, or we win first then we argue”. It is quite a different national character when comparing Americans to Israelis.
