They’re going to confuse us into voting for them
Can you parse this sentence? “Let me remove all doubt in anyone’s mind that there is no acceptance of any protection of a political future over the protection of children in the Congress of the United States.” I can’t. Nancy Pelosi used it in a speech the other day, and the Opinion Journal included it in its “Great Moments in Democratic Oratory” segment. I’d be more amused by Pelosi’s incoherence if there wasn’t a good chance that she’ll be Speaker of the House in a couple of months. Yikes.
