One thing we can expect
The one thing we know is going to happen is that the Democrats are going to let the tax cuts die. In the short term, this will be very, very, very, very painful. In the long term, this one thing, more than anything, may be what it takes to move the Democrats out of the power seat in 2008. Americans are not going to appreciate the pain on April 15. I’m already feeling anguish about it now.
