The Indian Ocean

What? The Indian Ocean?! What’s that all about? It’s about the fact that, if I were to start digging a hole in my backyard and dig all the way through the earth out out to the other side, that’s where I’d end up: in the Indian Ocean, at a point about 1/3 of the way between the Southernmost tip of Africa and Australia (closer to Africa). And how do I know this? Because of a very cool website.

Hat tip: PalmTree Pundit, who learned about it from Brandywine Books | digg it

How about you not start digging a hole in your backyard and say that you did, while blogging instead?

But you already did that right… nevermind.

Very hot website given the magma it has to see through.

Hey, have you noticed you can zoom this thing and look at your house?

Which in my area, owing to military installations, etc., etc. you cannot – at least not on Zillow, Google, or any of the realter sites that use satellite views. These guys are out of England, and you can!!!

(I’m absurdly pleased by small things…)
