Arte Johnson. Right. He also appeared in a gray suite with bow tie and a large, fake daisy reciting some absurd poetry. I don't think they had names. It was funny though.

Al, that old guy was Arte Johnson. He was usually in skits with Ruth Buzzi. I don't recall the names of the characters, though. Did they even have names?

You've got a point there, Al. The full body baring suits of today are not flattering to all (or even most) figures, and they do expose a modest woman or girl to more oogling than she might desire. However, there's no doubt but that the modern Muslim swim costume, once one subtracts the corset, is virtually identical in look to those used so long ago. (Although I have it on good authority that the old costumes were made of wool, which is just a horrible thought.)

You know, I can't help but think a number of non-muslim girls will find full body swim suits attractive. Especially if their bodies do not conform to the pneumatic Bay Watch babes contours. Despite the liberal position, sexual modesty is not a sign of retarded development or crippled ego.
This could get veeeerry interesting, a la dirty old man Laugh In character. (help me guys, what was his name)

"Purple is a lascivious color. When I see a woman in purple, I have impure thoughts. Women must not wear purple swimming and bathing garments. It is an affront. Humble and comely colors, which do not incite illicit lust, must be the rule."

LMAO! :-D
