Did I misunderstand ymarsakar? If so, sorry.

But my arguments still stand for those who advocate what he is apparently mocking.

NIce article.

regarding one commentor. . .

Note how ymarsakar attempts to use Iraq to "prove" conservative hypocricy. Close examination shows it does no such thing, except in the mind of the confused.

Rrush to war?"
We gave that S.O.B. 12 years to comply with what he agreed to at the end of the first war, but he did everything he could to thwart all efforts to ensure said compliance.
I followed the news reports so I know what was going on. Even before 9/11 he was hardening his command and control with China's help and acquiring missiles from them.
Iraq was daily locking radar on the coalition flights enforcing the no-fly zone, and frequently firing on them (acts of war).
If anything, we waited way too long to deal with that scumbag.

Not having intelligence isn't the same as suppressing it.
No one was trying to suppress intelligence on Saddam despite the oft-repeated Lefitst lie that Bush was.. We just didn't have it.
But we DO have good science that refutes greenie climate disinformation. And the Left IS attempting to suppress that real science which shows that Global climate is not under human control.

In fact, if there is any similarity, it's that the Left is using the same stonewalling that Saddam tried in order to prevent truth from getting out, as is ymarsakar's silly and illogical comparison.

And the only way to have the agenda escape scrutiny is to scare the dickens out of people and shriek both that the debate — which no one can recall having — is over and, as is ritual now on all such “greatest threats”, “we must act now!”

Bush was in a hurry to go to war. We rushed to war

Oh wait, that's another universe. In this one, they don't say we shouldn't have rushed to war to stop non-existent WMDs, they say we should rush to stop existent global warming.

Don't you find the energy credits thing just appalling?? Talk about noblesse oblige.

The NYT science section today has an article on how Gore is being urged to cool it (heh) with dire predictions on account of scientific evidence . . . well, you know. (Yes, yes, that New York Times.)
