You know, Book, looking over some of your posts like this one, I am simply amazed at your ability to handle quotations. Specifically, the act of deciding on what portion to quote. I spend enormous amounts of time just figuring out what I should or should not quote out of one article. I cannot imagine doing it for 4+ large and intricate ones.

Richard the Lion Hearted and Saladin were good counter-parts in the medieval days. The problem is... the West progressed, the East sort of didn't progress. Saladin, being a Kurd, of course is excluded.

Looking at the lack of discipline and stupid focus on "courage" (French cavalry that keeps disobeying orders) in the medieval days, I think it is a good comparison to the Arabs right now. Tribal, clannish... almost like Scots, except without the highlands.

"Instead, the human mind and spirit is shackled through medieval interrogation and intimidation tactics, and to what purpose?"

Much as I agree with you in principle, to call our enemies "medieval" strikes me as being insulting to our medieval ancestors.

Relations between Palestinian Muslims and Christians are generally peaceful [oh, really?], and the attacks on the churches sparked concern that tensions would heighten.

Yes really, Book. Why? Because. Because they think that peace is simply the absence of conflict, not the absence of injustice or of violence (Darfur, Vietnam, Cambodia circa post-US withdrawal). So long as Christians submit... hey it is peace for them.

it is Israel’s fault for shutting down their economic opportunities

One of the many reasons why classical liberals left the Left. But then, I don't have to tell you that, Book. Eventually, people who want the best for humanity, start to realize that the Left aren't on the same track.

“They have burned down our stores, built mosques in front of our churches, stole our real estate and took away our rights. Women have been raped and abducted. So don’t tell me about Israel. It’s the Muslims.”

This isn't France we are talking about is it?

So next time you read a ludicrous story from al-Reuters, check the facts on your own, since al-Reuters is sure to be wrong in just about every particular.

I don't place as much importance on facts as others. It is useful, but to a certain extent, my model of human behavior is based upon deduction. I start from the beginning. The deduction derived from Muslim behavior, religious, social, and criminal. By cross-referencing it to such things as the mob (organized crime) and various other institutions, I get the sense that this is some kind of standard operating procedure. When they take property, regardless of who it belongs to, they will destroy it and terrorize those in it? Why? Because they hate themselves, their failures, and therefore they wish to spread the misery. If they can't find someone close to spread the misery, they will go make him up.

It is as secret as a cult, as suicidal, as dangerous, and as repressive. It is not the power of bombs, of carriers, of airplanes, and of soldiers. It is the power of the mind, of the ability to crush mental and spiritual resistance, of manipulation, heinous manipulation, and vast deceptions.

People in the Arab world have devolved back to the dark ages. No longer is the human mind lifted up from its restraints and unleashed to produce miracles and life saving technologies. Instead, the human mind and spirit is shackled through medieval interrogation and intimidation tactics, and to what purpose? To no purpose at all, except the self-glorification and self-destructive goals of Arabs. You can't save a people from themselves. If they wish to destroy themselves and take you down with them, your only hope is to annihilate them first.

Facts can be distorted or misinterpreted. But the soul? The soul is both the beginning and the end. Either they have a healthy soul or a diseased soul, a bright one or a fallen one. Either they are enlightened or they are not enlightened in their behavior.

When a person knows the True Nature of another, such as Reuters or AP or some such, then you will be able to predict their actions, because you will have known their soul. As Plato messed around in metaphysics, knowing an object for what it truly is is very important. Their characters. Sometimes it is wrong, like when people say that Bush is a liar. Scooter may be a liar or he may just have a bad memory, but Bush is honest. And you can only tell if you are right or wrong based upon a man's actions. Not what he says, but what he does. No man's worth is calculated and based upon the judgements of others. Judge not yet, lest ye be judged. Your worth is your own to total and build, not for others to destroy and vilify. These rules are to protect you, do not break them and be like the Islamic JIhad in calling for pity that they no longer protect you.

And... if your ability to percieve a person's actions are themselves flawed because of your epistemology? No help there. If a person hates or is partisan enough in his or her makeup, then none of Bush's actions will ever be seen by them through clear eyes. And without that, they are not able to see things for what they are, because they lost the ability to see themselves for what they are, a long time ago. A modification of Sun Tzu. You cannot know your enemy, if you do not know yourself.

Of course Book gets paid. She gets paid in the most stable and rewarding denomination of all.

Human happiness. Something the Left devalued a long time ago.
