The Pope

Ignatius Insight Scoop explains why you don’t want to go to The New Yorker for a reasoned critique of the Pope.  (Hat tip:  Paragraph Farmer.)  Then, just to round things out, CDR Salamander offers a video explaining what the Pope actually said last Fall that excited so much Muslim outrage, and why he said it.  Compelling reading and viewing this Easter weekend.

Balanced reporting is such a bitch, isn’t she.

The Muslim entropy grips every weak fool on this planet.

And the funny thing is that they all use each other. The Islamic Jihad uses the Left to bring on Armageddon. The Left uses the IJ to bring themselves political power, whether by vote engineering in Europe or fear and paralysis power in the US.

    Predictably, Greg.

Honestly, you shouldn’t be “outing” yourself in this way.

Either you’ve read Ratzinger’s stuff, in which case you know that Kramers is ignorant of what the man is about and is being led about by the nose as she reflects secondary sources by people who misrepresent him….OR, you haven’t read what he’s written, so you’re just another boob who’s eating up and enjoying an opinion that fits his prejudices, and then pretending to recognize a hatchet job as “balance”……

And no, I’m not Catholic! But you’re pathetic.

I don’t happen to buy into much of it, but I have read Ratzinger’s stuff, and quite right: Kramers is an ill-informed nitwit. Agree or not, Ratzinger is capable of making and sustaining an argument which, (once you accept the fundamental illogic of religion), is grounded in logic. Kramers is, by comparison with Ratzinger, a greatly inferior intellect.

Greg, well… we know he hasn’t read anything Joe Ratzinger has written. It’s beyond speculation.

Greg’s not actually able to read, given his illiteracy. He just has someone else provide him the information he needs. It’s an outsource thing.
