I’m back! It was a good vacation, and I’ll have some thoughts about it later, but mostly I’m just soooooo glad to be home. I am, to use an old fashioned expression, a homebody, and I just love the moment of returning from the trip.
Returns can be as tiring as the trip themselves, though. I’ve spent the morning ferrying the kids around to their various camps, picking up the dog, bathing the dog (always filthy after the kennel), and tidying the house for the cleaning ladies who, blessedly, came today.
Despite all the sturm und drang of the trip and the return from that trip, I have a lot of thoughts swirling in my head — and I haven’t even read the news yet. I’ll start blogging soon, but won’t pick up steam until tonight or tomorrow. So, back to the caption of this post: come back soon and check this space!
