I have a wonderful recipe for an egg and spinach dish, although the rest of the family is less enthusiastic about it than I am. From now on, though, I can say say “Tough! It’s a health food.”

I can’t. It’s in a cookbook, so it’s copywritten. I can tell you the cookbook, though: It’s the Springtime Quiche recipe in The New Basics Cookbook by Julee Rosso and Sheila Lukins. I actually don’t like the cookbook very much, because the recipes are way too much work, but this particular recipe is quick, easy, delicious and, as it turns out, healthy.

of course … Regardless, here’s a suggestion for how to share the recipe with your readership: Go to Google. Search on the recipe’s title. From among the Google results, identify the recipe that most closely approximates the one you’re (not) telling us about. Post a hyperlink to that recipe.

Just now ordered the book from an online seller after browsing the contents and several pages. Looks as though the authors are into much of what we are cooking these days. E.G., olives have been a large scale addition to our menu.
We will have to adapt the recipe as SJSal and I have developed a severe sensitivity to wheat, so the crust will be toasted almond based (which tastes far better than wheat) . We’ll let you know how it turns out when we get the book.
