Yes, BW, my jaw dropped, too, when I first read it. Also, even more astonishing is the amazing historical work of Francisco Gil-White. He is one thorough documentarian. He has been denied tenure at Penn State for blatant political reasons. Here is another link that will keep you reading for awhile:

I agree with you, Richard. When I'm drafting a complaint, I always start with the jury instructions and work backwards. Sadly, this was not my complaint, and the issues are somewhat amorphous, so I've been working to do a lot of original drafting, in addition to the CACI (and, when needed, a nod to the old BAJI).

“those damned jury instructions,”

I don't know if you're preparing criminal or civil instructions, but a good idea is to have the instructions clearly in mind when you file your complaint or prepare your answer An electronic version of California's crimial and civil instructions is available from Thomson publishing. Having worked on the program for the last 17 years, I highly commend it to you to ease your editing burdens.

Wow, Jauhara! That is an amazing document you linked too. I'll see if I can get it slightly wider play by doing a post about it, although that will have to wait a few days.

This is some mighty meaty reading, BW. I might link to it and add my two cents. I never knew that Freud felt this way. He reminds me of Oriana Fallaci, who, at the end of her atheistic life sought out the pope and took communion. Happy Rosh Hashana, too. Since we are on the subject, I thought I would send you this interesting document concerning the British record on Partition. It comes from a 1948 publication of The Nation....hardly a Republican Rag. Anyway, here is the link, which also contains a lot of information and a pdf file:
