As the Goracle, he gets to spread misinformation AND be worshipped for it. As President, you'd be surrounded by people who want to carve you into tiny little chunks. Politics is far, far, tougher than being a Goracle. Big Al will be perfectly happy to continue being the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi to the granola crowd. Al Gore will not run for President.
