The fact remains is that there is no Weimar here, Esty.

Btw, the latter portion was directed against Book, since I hadn't seen a direct link referenced in her post. Just in case you thought I was trying to appease your general ego.

Allow me to correct the record. You and your team of agent provocateurs can tell as many lies as you wish about the military that you seek to betray and destroy. What matters is who lives and who dies. And in the end, even if you win, surely you must know somewhere in that segmented and compartamentalized contraption you call a mind that even if you should win, either the Democrats or their allies will finish you and your own off. For your own good.

Soory *****. The fact remains that many generals have disagreed sharply with the surge. Bush kept replacing them until he found one who would say what he wanted. That's a fact. Sanchez is hardly an exception.

(Ad hominem attack deleted by the editor.)

UPDATE: And here’s more on one paper’s really crude sin of omission.

The NYTimes is an enemy combatant organization, Book. Do you expect CAIR and Zawahiri to promote America's side of the war? Obviously not on purpose.

A lot of those news clips are disinformation, Esteban. Meaning, they don't really mean what it appears to mean.

Please read the actual speech, since it cuts through a lot of the bs.

What Sanchez said is really no different from the Generals' Revolt . Besides, General Abizaid & Zinni have echoed these sentiments. Moreover, General Petraeus' commanding officer, CENTCOM commander Admiral Fallon has called Petraeus "an ass-kissing little chickenshit" for being a worthless sycophant who will deliver to the Commander-in-Chief the message that Bush wanted to hear.
