It is a curious omission, and one that didn't even register on my radar. I think Thompson didn't quite fit in with Steyn's thesis about diversity amongst the Republicans, 'cause he's certainly a more viable candidate than the loony Ron Paul, but Paul definitely rounds out the diversity roster. Or, perhaps, Steyn had a nice sentence about Thompson that ended up getting cut. Who knows? But you make a very good point there, rockdalian. You’re right.
