I am so thankful that I have "OCD" in that I carry hand-wipes EVERYWHERE I go; refuse to EVER sit on a toilet seat outside my own home [even at a friend or relative's house]; never let my bare feet touch a floor outside my home [whether trying on clothes in dressing room or at a hotel] - I carry little footie things with me when I fly - there is NO way I'm taking my shoes off with everyone else - they are used to protect wood floors and at open houses - very cheap - Home Depot, $6.00 for three pairs and they are always in my carry-on front pocket. People may laugh at me, but until I see a lot more Lysol being used around me...

I'd also count as bad Hep B, Herpes (a virus, I know), Staph infections, etc. Basically, I know that we're surrounded by the little bugs and things, but there are some things it's simply better to avoid.

Also that whole bathroom deal was not nice. There's no point in transfering bacteria from toilets to drinking and eating utensils.

Your skin can hold a heck load of bacteria, that is what it was designed to do. However, your mouth and the insides, should be kept away from bacteria.
