An interview to hear, a book to read

I was planning on read the book anyway, but hearing Jonah Goldberg’s fascinating January 10 interview with Dennis Prager only whetted my appetite to get my hands on Goldberg’s Liberal Fascism: The Secret History of the American Left, From Mussolini to the Politics of Meaning. For example, did you know that the phrase “liberal fascism” was coined, not by some conservative pundit, but by H. G. Wells, the dean of western Socialism?  In a 20 minute segment that flies by, Prager and Goldberg talk about the faux unity those on the Left seek, about the nature of fascism, about the canard taught at universities that the far left and the far right are the same, and so much more.  I can’t wait until I get hold of my copy of the book — and I was delighted to see that many aren’t waiting because, as of this writing, Goldberg’s book is the 7th book on the Amazon Top 100.
