		<description>Well, the US has a plenty big problem with doctors "overprescribing" painkillers and people getting addicted, so at the very least, all that extra training doesn't improve doctor's ability (or willingness?) to listen to the DEA guidelines about opiate pain medications.

Of course, it could also be that pain patients aren't being adequately treated, and then they turn to illegal sources to try to treat themselves, and end up in trouble that way. Depends on which statistics you look at, I guess.</description>
