The Democrats do have a plan to progress humanity towards our lowest potential, though. Give them credit for that, at least.

Everybody has a plan to advance their agenda. What everyone <I>does not have</i> is a plan to progress humanity towards our maximum potential.

You know this is funny in exactly the same way as my poem for The Pedestal Magazine's The Political Anthology. http://www.thepedestalmagazine.com/Secure/content/cb.asp?cbid=4450
It makes use of hyperbole. Of course, the Democrats have a policy and a plan to address the issues just as the Republicans did in 2004. "O, the games people play now, every night and every day now."

You know, Y, with Betty Boop cartoons, it's hard to tell. They are all completely surrealistic, which is why it makes it more than usually funny that the cartoon seems to echo so many things in today's election. I'm a big Max Fleischer fan. He was one of the pioneers of cartooning, and quite brilliant. You should check out his cartoons, many of which have been posted to youtube.
