I have a 17 year old daughter who is seriously considering joining the army...and I am all for it. The discipline, the outlook, the camaraderie and hard work would reform her misspent youth better than any liberal arts education. She is physically fit, athletic and loves the outdoors. If she joins, I would be the proudest momma on the block!

Doesn't this mean that Marin should have their voting rights rescinded on all state and federal positions? After all, according to Leftist beliefs, you have to serve before you can care about the soldiers you are sending into battle. Marin, thus, has disqualified themselves from contributing to any state or federal policy making position with their low recruitment numbers.

Such folks that like collective punishment, surely can accept punishment collectively against them.

How can Marin even tolerate supporting the US military with their taxes anyways. I say if they are willing to accept the punitive punishment of being cut from federal voter registration, they can refuse to pay taxes. Except the upkeep for the military inside Marin, of course. But at least Marin will be able to stop supporting the illegal war in fact and law.

The situation we currently live in is pretty much intolerable. For them as well as us. It wouldn't be such a problem if folks didn't demand military protection and protection from foreign invasion, while at the same time thinking they can ride on the coat tails of other states and counties in the US. And instead of targeting the US military, they really need to, if they are consistent with their anti-war stance, to target the IRS and refuse to have Marin residents pay federal tax.

This is what happens when you have one rookie shepherd and a million sheep.
