The Nero Wolfe series written by Rex Stout was a way for me to learn new words. Whenever I read a story I kept a dictionary by my side because of the obscure words that I did not know.
Certainly was an entertaining way to learn, the stories were good too.

He _will_ be missed. For his astuteness, for his reasoned discourse, for his fantastic vocabulary.

The English language can be _so_ cool!
