This comment does not include or preclude ownership and what their point of view/s may be, which seem to be the way of most newspapers. The days of reporting the five W's (who, what, where, when and why) are long gone and have been replaced with opinions, which are fine once the facts are printed. I believe that if we can read, we can discern and make our own calls. My comment referring to bad calls and judgment seems to have been born out by your cancellation. As a Chicagoland resident, I formerly subscribed to the Tribune. The main reason for me canceling my subscription was the Tribunes lack of critical coverage of Obama in 2004 when he ran for the Senate. The bias, even then, was too noticeable. For a number of years now the Tribune's news reporting has leaned left. The editorial board was mostly conservative, excepting 2nd amendment issues.
