    http://www.euroamericans.net/chicago.htm

The link above (from a 2000 census) may explain how and why the press reports in Chicago.

Of course, there is no census taken for bad calls and judgments, it would overwhelm the internet.

I am not sure what Sadie is trying to say. As a Chicagoland resident, I formerly subscribed to the Tribune. The main reason for me canceling my subscription was the Tribunes lack of critical coverage of Obama in 2004 when he ran for the Senate. The bias, even then, was too noticeable.
For a number of years now the Tribune’s news reporting has leaned left. The editorial board was mostly conservative, excepting 2nd amendment issues.
Now there is basically no pretense to the papers leaning. This is the same corp. that owns the LA Times.

What I attempted to say is that newspapers should cover their readership’s interests.

This comment does not include or preclude ownership and what their point of view/s may be, which seem to be the way of most newspapers.
The days of reporting the five W’s (who, what, where, when and why) are long gone and have been replaced with opinions, which are fine once the facts are printed. I believe that if we can read, we can discern and make our own calls.

My comment referring to bad calls and judgment seems to have been born out by your cancellation.

I cannot find a link to the Remember One Project, Bookie. Got one?

I don’t know of a link either, benning. I wonder if this project is being created the old fashioned way, without a website (although benefiting, I hope, from web word of mouth).
