I'll repeat the link that was posted above, because it is a good one!
Barack Obama (the junior) is going to have to answer the issues raised. It's explosive!

http://gregransom.com/prestopundit/2008/04/gregs-guide-to-barack-obamas-d.html

What the senior Barack Obama believed (and argued for):

1. "advocated the communal ownership of land and the forced confiscation of privately controlled land"

2. "advocated the nationalization of "European" and "Asian" owned enterprises, including hotels, with the control of these operations handed over to the "indigenous" black population."

3. "Theoretically, there is nothing that can stop the government from taxing 100% of income so long as the people get benefits from the government commensurate with their income which is taxed."

4. "need to eliminate power structures that have been built through excessive accumulation so that not only a few individuals shall control a vast magnitude of resources as is the case now .. so long as we maintain free enterprise one cannot deny that some will accumulate more than others ..."

-----

As to #1 and #2, that is working out so very well in Mugabe's Zimbabwe, isn't it? Share and share alike, with no rewards of any sort for innovation or hard work or wisdom, yes, that really works out well.

"so long as we maintain free enterprise one cannot deny that some will accumulate more than others"

I especially appreciate his use of "accumulate" rather than "earn". Nifty phrasing, no? One imagines that a thief "accumulates" as well. End free enterprise! End individual initiative and individual responsibility! Does our candidate Barack Obama believe these same things as well?

The role of government is forced redistribution, so that everyone is forced (at the point of a gun) to have exactly what is equal. I'm *certain* that some will never be more equal than others.

Others may say that equality of opportunity is the important goal, but Obama's father (idolized by Obama) finds equality of results as the only important criteria.

This could be a repeat of the LGF post linked above - if not, it's more of the same - the "Dreams of His Father" were communistic ...

Just wait for it, Mike. Obama only spoke in passing apparently to this person. If his people think it will benefit his race, be assured that they will dig up more details and have more press conferences about this subject and woman.

I hope that the honorable Captain Ronan Kennedy does not die in Iraq. I assume he is like nearly all of our military professionals, recognizing and accepting the risks of military service, and willing to pay an ultimate price that most of us aren't willing to pay. For those that would remember him, he would want them to remember him as a man of courage, honor, integrity and duty. These are the ideals that he likely lives his entire life by.

In this he would be EXACTLY like Casey Sheehan. And you can assume that his mother would be EXACTLY like Cindy Sheehan. His mother, Noreen, would violate her son's integrity; she would pervert the memory of him by systematically tearing down our perceptions of his courage, his integrity, his honor, his duty. Like Cindy Sheehan, she would make of her son's life a mockery.

Cindy Sheehan did this travesty to her son. Noreen Kennedy likely would do the same to her son. After all, I see no sign that the Captain is agitating to be returned home as soon as possible; I see no sign that he considers his service a mistake and a disgrace. His mother has already indicated this, and you can be sure she won't stop here.

Given that Noreen is apparently feeling a religious epiphany, it is doubtful that she can realize whether someone else is feeling her... well, if not pain, then awe.
