Sadie reminds me of my own stuttering problem. It comes and it goes, and I can sometimes get totally blocked and can't get a syllable out.

Yet I have never, ever stuttered while singing. (Though it does make other people sputter, and leave the room. ;-)

Our medical science concerning the brain is still in its infancy. I expect us to continue to make amazing progress over the next decades. There is amazing science going on and its one of the thrills of our current age that we can be around it see it happen.

This is a good sign and I am not a bit surprised. Stutters have learned to 'sing' their words to alleviate the problem, some with a higher rate of success than others. It's been awhile, but I believe the country singer, Mel Tillis' speech impediment was treated this way.
