Preacherman Jack, allow me to invoke Benjamin Franklin. He named our form of government: A republic, if you can keep it. It is the if you keep it part that is problematic.

Book,

Seems almost conspiratorial, doesn't it?

The Libs have screamed for years for gas prices like Europe... $4.00 gallon or more..

Now we have it.

Now we must become urban because it is too costly to travel..

Now we are herded into the urban ghettos where the "Obama Organizers" will help us vote the right people into office (or else) -- local and national...

Now we are completely indoctrinated into Socialism and we reap the "benefits" never to work our way out.

It is a conspiratorial progression.

Have you read Nathan McCall's "Them"? It's a novel set in Atlanta's Fourth Ward (near MLK's birthplace) told from the standpoint of a black man who's seeing the property value of the rental he's been hoping to buy rise out of his range thanks to gentrification and the white yuppie couple who buy the place next door. It's pretty blunt about the incompatible goals of the locals and those who intend to gentrify the area.

You know what those inner city people are like. Their condition hasn't changed over the years and they feel ignored. That makes them bitter and they cling to their religion and some cling to their music and drugs and guns and they feel antipathy for people who aren't like them.

Such an open display of raw racial sentiments is unsettling. This is one reason why so many have invested such hope in Barry Obama. Americans of all races want to put this kind of thing behind them. Clearly, we have a long to go before we can achieve this ideal.

Somebody's not talking to the right blacks in the nation. From where I'm at, Obama's run for the nomination has brought on more conspiracy charges that "he'll be killed once in office" and that "they" are scared of Obama.

When people are thinking such thoughts and defending Obama, racial tensions go up, not down.

Clearly, we have a long way to go when candidates such as Obama increase racial war incidents just by existing in the public spotlight.

“I’m going to get you, you f****** plutocrat.”

This is why black Democrats don't support the 2nd Amendment and why people like me do.

When it's a war, you want to take the guns away from the crazies and give it to the law abiding citizens.

Amerindians had the same reaction to white traders and settlers. Except, after the Civil War, the Amerindians had valid grievances against whites.

Blacks today just don't want their little miserable status quo to be disrupted by new elements. They can't use that rage to lift themselves up and get better, so they have to lash out at people who aren't as violent as themselves.

You will see such people lash out at people more violent than them. Usually those incidents last for a very short and are never repeated.
