Lies *UPDATED*
Bookworm on May 16 2008 at 10:21 am | Filed under: Barack Obama
In two preceding post, I’ve talked about the studied incrementalism of Obama’s lies (here and here). Obama is now taking a page out of the Hillary play book on lying and simply denying, outright, easily ascertainable truths.
UPDATE: And yet another blatant Obama lie — although this one may be because Obama, who claims an audience didn’t applaud, is so used to screaming and swooning that he’s incapable of even acknowledging polite applause. (H/t: Danny Lemieux.)

Democrats love lies since anyone that has to lie to themselves everyday won’t particularly mind one of their own lying to them.
Black story day anyone? Just a reminder. Lies are good. Lies from your enemies, Republicans=evil.
Ah, I forgot to mention something. If you lie to yourself and don’t mind your own people lying to you, then wouldn’t what you see as “lies” from Republicans be just the truth, which you object to since it would destroy the lies told by yourself to yourself?

And that, YM, explains quite a lot. Excellent point.
People will believe anything so long as either they want it to be true or they fear that it is true.
The latter was good enough for most Democrats before 2003 and the former was good enough for the Democrats after 2003.
