Perhaps the correction is entirely unnecessary, but I hate it when my thoughts overrun my words. When I wrote this above:

But on the whole, due to its brevity and style, I give
Secondary nod to Book this week.

I meant to write:

But on the whole, due to its brevity and unfortunate style,
EducationWonk's piece could have used a little more effort
and polishing, so I give the Secondary nod to Book this week.

It's fun to take the opportunity to read all the posts and decide beforehand which ones I would vote as primary and secondary.

This week, 'Wolf Howling' simply impressed the hell out of me with that article. Well-written! And if you knew nothing at all about U.S. and Iranian conflict over the years, what an excellent place to start, due to its comprehensiveness and profusion of links to supporting secondary information. Easily my Primary vote.

Secondary was close between Book's post and EducationWonk's. Book's was far more comprehensive and far better written! But I really appreciated EducationWonk's 10,000-foot view of all the sneaky, sly Bill-and-Hillary political pronouncements over the months. If anyone wasn't paying attention, that article provided proof of just how crass and ridiculous the Clintons are, and what a great good riddance they soon will be.

But on the whole, due to its brevity and style, I give Secondary nod to Book this week.

Now let's see how the REAL voting turns out!

On the non-Council side, Iowahawk's satire is simply brilliant as usual. Not in his top 5 ever, but very good. And I'm surprised that Rick Moran's RightWingNutHouse did not have a nominated piece. He's a contrarian voice in the wilderness, but I think he's been writing compelling pieces over the last few weeks...
