When the citizens rise up and start looking like they might overthrow the Leftists, martial law and execution purges are the first things that the Left calls out to "restore order". Meaning restore their power and protect their hides.

But when criminals rise up against citizens, now all of a sudden the citizen is hamstrung by all these lovely commandments.

that is, handguns with a permanent, programmable biometric feature that renders the firearm useless unless activated by the authorized user.

Now that's funny. I can do more damage with my bare hands than with a useless toy/software that needed "activation".

In case people hadn't noticed, copyright protection doesn't even work and only hurts the paying customer. What makes people think that "protected handguns" will do things better?

I also like the fact that California's political masters are protected by military and police arms, including assault rifles, but they are the ones saying that the citizens of California cannot arm themselves without the politicians telling them what is the right way to do so.

This is what happens when a bunch of parasites come to power. The host starts suffering.

I left SoCal in the summer of '85, after eight years living in Santa Ana, thinking it was a relief as California was too expensive and too crazy to remain, but it could hardly get any dumber or more suicidal than it was.

I was wrong, of course. But I am sure glad I left when I did!

I think that all interested parties should contact these people right away and get involved: http://www.crpa.org/

The State organizations tend to have their act together much better than the National organization.

Greetings:

Supervisor Leno also introduced legislation that would have increased the amount of child pornography one could possess without being criminally charge. This was quickly quashed in the media and I did not hear anything about it during his campaign.

Also, I harbor suspicions that Supervisor Leno was one of the driving forces behind Mayor Newsom's initial homosexual marriage initiative.
During that period, he always seemed to be in the camera frame, smiling his Chesire Cat smile, with the good mayor.

Excelsior.
