This is exactly what we should expect from the Ultimate in Nanny State thinking. The Communist/Fascist states should be held up for examination and comparison with the professed policies of Obama and his ilk. And we must drum into the American mind that these are not well-intentioned do-gooders but totalitarians who will accept no interference with their plans.

The Complaint Department will be a Concentration Camp for the re-education of mean-spirited, bigoted Right Wingers. Meaning anyone who ain’t them.

The “progressives” have demonstrated that when they get power, they attempt to shut down speech which with they do not agree–and also, that they wish to politicize virtually all aspects of life. This is clear from the example of “progressive”-dominated universities.

An Obama win, regardless of his actual politicies, would provide great encouragement to these people and make it harder to resist them.

In his memoir on life in the Weimar Republic and the early Nazi era, Sebastian Haffner wrote:

“With fearful menace the state emands that the individual give up his friends, abandon his lovers, renounce his beliefs and assume new, prescribed ones. This is the sort of proposal one might expect from a man steeped in Marxism at his church, from his friends like Ayers, and as a member of the Alinsky Left. But I am surprised he let this slip.

Like I said before, if you allow the Left to win and then expect some kind of mercy from them or some kind of “power transfer” from a Carter to a Reagan, expect to be disappointed or jailed.

One thing that does worry me is that when I use terms such as “Marxist”, “fascist” or “socialist” to describe what is going on, a number of people with whom I have been speaking have given me a blank stare, not knowing what those terms mean. They vaguely know that those words mean something bad, but they don’t really comprehend why.

It’s been over 20-years since the Berlin Wall fell, after-all.

We may be at a point where people will have to learn about History all over again….the hard way. Sad! True to the Leftists’ goals, the education system really is has crashed and burned.

I would have hoped that we could have left our kids a better legacy.
