Although the San Francisco School Board attempted to schedule its most recent JROTC initiative on such short notice that no one could attend (translation: no JROTC supporters could attend), that sneaky little effort failed. Supporters showed up and carried the day, with the School Board backing off from its plan to deny to the program participant’s the P.E. credits that make it more attractive to kids who want to be in JROTC, but only have so many hours in the day.
