Look hard at the Lenovo/IBM ThinkPad.
I REALLY do like mine.....and it has a reputation for being tough as nails.

GREAT trip, by the way.....you saw a lot of nice country.

God Bless America!

You're quite welcome and, as always, I'm enjoying the intelligence and civility of the Bookwormroom readers. I'll be glad when you get back and can take over full time, though. In the meantime, I'd love to hear more about your travels and anything else you have time to blog about.

We've bought 3 computers from this online store - although we're close enough to the San Fernando Valley to go there in person. We had no problems - good pricing, and if we've had a problem of any kind, prompt service. They have good deals, and if you do the "I listen to the Jeff Levy show", sometimes you get an extra discount. And besides, you probably _should_ listen to the Jeff Levy show, if you're in your car at the right time on Saturdays!
