After the flood

Patrick grew up in Oakville, Iowa, as did his father before him. It was a quintessentially small Midwestern town, but its future is in now question because it was completely flooded when the waters rose. Patrick’s now started a blog with illustrations of both the damage done and the work the town’s residents are doing to repair their homes and get on with their lives. I commend it to your attention as an example of nature’s destructive powers and human resiliance.
