The Dems, aided by old whats her name — um, Gwyneth Paltry — have put together an endless, repetitious ad urging registered voters living oversees to make sure that they vote for Obama. I have no problem with that. If you have constituents living abroad, you should try to reach them. But why, why, why, so boringly? It was like a Barney show, with a simple point repeated over and over and over to drive it into a distracted little brain. (Okay, don’t answer that why, why, why question. I guess that the Dems recognize that in today’s short attention span world, we’re all four year olds now.)
Speaking of which, dear troops, if you haven’t already arranged for an absentee ballot, you are running out of time. Act now. As you may recall, in 2004, the huge time lag between mailing something in Iraq and Afghanistan, and getting it to America, meant that many troop votes entered up in the circular file. Considering that you’re the ones on the front lines defending our Constitution, it would be a crying shame if your votes did not get counted.

A simple point repeated over and over without insulting even one person. What a novel idea.
As good a performance as Gwyneth Paltrow has given in any movie in which she appeared. And blessedly shorter.
Not completely on topic, except it’s Obama related, but interesting – first time I’ve actually seen some of the “Rules for Radicals” and how they’re applied. Also the rules and how they apply to various commenters becomes more apparent. Doesn’t make it easier for me to see a way to counter them, but even seeing how the rules apply to commenting harrassment is a plus.
