The Council has spoken

The Razor did a wonderful job collecting and calculating votes, and now publishing the winners.  Thank you!  And the winners are:

On the Council side:

2.64   Joshuapundit: Winning in Afghanistan
1.98   Wolf Howling: PartIII: Why Exploit Our Domestic Resources
1.65   Rhymes with Right: What is a Windfall Profit?
1.32   Bookworm room: Marin County’s Hidden Conservatives
0.99   The Razor: Red Man in a Blue Family
0.66   Done With Mirrors: Heroes
0.33   Soccer Dad: Hello martyr, hello fatah
0.33   Cheat Seeking Missiles: Time to Fire Bob Herbert

On the non-Council side:

3.63   Classical Values: Obama Be
2.64   Sigmund, Carl and Alfred: The Forgotten Christians of Lebanon
0.99   American Thinker: Time for an Indifferent World to Take a Stand
0.99   Neptunus Lex: A Difficult Man
0.66   Elder of Ziyon: The definitive version of Hello martyr, hello fatah
0.66   Spiegel Online: China’s Summer of Living Dangerously
0.33   The Baseball Crank: Politics: Racist Campaign Ad Watch

As is often the case, my voting didn’t quite match the final outcome, but I have no quarrels with it nevertheless.  Week in and week out, voting is incredibly difficult for me, since all of the offerings are invariably interesting, thoughtful, and well-informed.  I feel as if I’m being asked to judge roses, with each entrant entrancing me completely in one way or another.

What’s quite amusing is the Razor’s comment about acting as Watcher:  “I’d also like to offer my thanks for quickly responding to my emails; I wish the people at work were half as responsive.”  I’m sure people at work would be just as quick if work was as interesting as being a Council member.
