(Actually, you pick up the line attached to the anchor.) If you set your own anchor, you're anchored. I always wondered, though, about a ship full of Marines lying off the Shores of Tripoli. I will ask an old classmate as he does aux work for the USCG(R). I'm sure he will send me the correct term.
