    Heh.

The current lead headline at England’s Telegraph web site ( http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/uselection2008/ ) is:

Obama’s 2001 interview reignites socialism fears

So I went to ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN to check out their websites and political coverage, to see how they are covering the 2001 intervew.

Nope, nothing there! Nothing at all. There *are* stories of Palin “going rogue”, and stories of her wardrobe.

The interview makes it clear that redistribution of wealth has been Obama’s main goal for almost a decade. Actually, I think it goes back even further:

Obama’s Mama: “Can you say, ‘mommy’?”
    One year old Obama: “Mommy!”
Mama: “Good! Can you say, ‘redistribution of wealth from evil capitalist pigs’?”
    Obama: “Redistibushun of wefth”
Mama: “Hmmm. Good enough. Can you say, ‘Che!’”?

This should be handy for reference…just in case Obama wins, it’d be nice to see what his ideal is shooting for…

In case you don’t get through the comments:

On October 28th, 2008 at 12:53 pm, ITookTheRedPill said:

Soviet defector Yuri Bezmenov described the four stages of
    “Ideological Subversion”
(also known as “Active Measures” and “Psychological Warfare“) as:

    1) Demoralization
    2) Destabilization
    3) Crisis
    4) Communist “Normalization”

The Demoralization stage could very well be the reinterpretation of the First Amendment to mean “Separation of Church and State”.

The Destabilization stage could very well be the Destabilization of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

The Crisis stage could very well be the current financial crisis, as well as the Manufactured Crisis that Senator Joe Biden has assured us is certain to happen in the first six months of an Obama presidency.

It is reported that Vice-Presidential candidate Joe Biden, speaking in Seattle on Sunday, October 19, 2008, said:

“Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking,” Biden said.

“Remember I said it standing here. if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy. And he’s gonna have to make some really tough — I don’t know what the decision’s gonna be, but I promise you it will occur. As a student of history and having served with seven presidents, I guarantee you it’s gonna happen,” Biden continued.

The next President of the United States will likely determine whether or not we enter the fourth and final stage:

    Communist “Normalization”

Those “really tough decisions” Biden was confidently predicting could be to impose Martial law and rewrite our Constitution.

    Suek,
Some time ago you asked if anyone would care if it had been an abortion clinic that Bill Ayers bombed 40 years ago.
That really put it in focus for me. Very perceptive.

    SueK,
Those last three links (at 8,9,10) are really useful! In combination with the Obama audio from 2001, on redistribution, the set of four things just might form an argument my Democrat family in Michigan might listen to!

    >>Those last three links (at 8,9,10) are really useful!>>

It’s funny, isn’t it! Some days there are just articles and articles worth saving or at least commenting on. Other days….zilch! Sometimes I think it’s due to events which are occuring, but other times, it seems it’s just thoughts that are occuring – and those thoughts spark other thoughts.

The internet is sort of like the ultimate “coffee shop”…the conversation down at the old General Store kind of thing. I _do_ enjoy it!
