Oh, PLEASE tell me how that is done! What program are you “running the link through”?

My biggest complaint about YouTube is you can’t download the videos. They therefore have complete control over that sector of “video memory” in our national consciousness. Videos get pulled, and videos do actually get ALTERED, and memory itself changes.

Both have already happened. There are two Terry Tate videos out there where at the end of Couric interview segments with Sarah Palin, he viciously tackles her into the floor. He stands over her battered body howling insults while she pitifully moans and groans in pain, at one point barely moaning the word “hurt”.

Or, that’s what USED to happen at the end of those videos on YouTube. Not anymore.

Now, after he smashes her viciously to the floor, in one video she practically coos “ooooooh!” and then saucily says “Nope! Not hurt!”. And in the other you get the exact same audio of the cooed “oooooh!”. To hear this new audio while the video still shows the same smashed body laying face down on the floor, is bizarre beyond belief.

The YouTube links are *exactly* the same. The old has been replaced by the new. These are not substitutes available for comparison; this is the erasure of memory itself.

This is similar to all the scrubbing that the Obamites are doing on historical links to various items of information. Remember the Obama supporter that wrote of attending the meeting in Ayers’ living room where Obama was informally launched as a political candidate within Illinois? Scrubbed. Gone. Disappeared.

    There are many further examples.

    Helen –

I would like to get your thoughts on this. Yesterday, the following was reported:

“French President Nicolas Sarkozy is very critical of U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama’s positions on Iran, according to reports that have reached Israel’s government.”

“Sarkozy has made his criticisms only in closed forums in France. But according to a senior Israeli government source, the reports reaching Israel indicate that Sarkozy views the Democratic candidate’s stance on Iran as “utterly immature” and comprised of “formulations empty of all content.””

    Here is the link:

I’m just wondering what you think about that because for the past 8 years, liberals have been very worried about the Europeans not liking or supporting us. And, since Obama started running for president, we have been assured that he would “heal the broken relationships” that Bush has caused with the Europeans and other nations.

    You watched it. Good!

You’ve already voted for Obama. Good as well! You’ve done your civic duty, and I know you take the time to look at and think about the issues. Though I don’t agree with your conclusions, I certainly respect your participation in our representative republic.

That being said, what do you think of the content of the ad? Is Sen. Obama a redistributionist? Is that a good path for the country to follow? Why? I’m interested in your thoughts on this.
