Gary Sinise — humanitarian

What a rare pleasure it is to like an actor on screen and admire him off screen. With Gary Sinise one gets to do just that. Andrew Breitbart explains at length how Sinise has given of himself over and over and over to support American troops. While the American media has assiduously ignored his contribution to the troops’ well-being, the White House hasn’t, and just awarded him the Presidential Citizens Medal (and honor, ironically, that he shares with that pusillanimous back-stabber, Colin Powell).

The council has spoken. The winning entry this week was JoshuaPundit’s The message of Mumbai about the need for India to confront its potential internal threat. The runners up were Bookworm Room’s Ayers’ life was just a joyous, misunderstood frolic …
Bush was at his worst when listening to his advisers, like Powell or even Blair. Bush was at his best when going unilateral, doing cowboyish stuff, and saying “bring it on”.
The approval ratings, of course, stand by my argument.
The two alternating complaints about Iraq are 1. there was not enough sacrifice asked of the American people or the Iraqi people for victory to have been serious there and 2. too much wealth and treasure was sacrificed for Iraq.
To most people, that will seem very consistent, Book, but to those like me, we know that it is not.
Ummmmm … it’s S-I-N-I-S-E. And he is a fine actor and good guy, well-deserving of the recognition.
Hey Book, you got any movies from the last year or so you could recommend to me? Shoot me an email or a comment, please.
Sadly, Z, if spell-check doesn’t know it, neither do I!
