If you’re going to be in D.C. on Monday….

This just in:

Kristinn Taylor, political activist and media spokesman for Free Republic .com  just called to tell me that a protest will take place Monday at 10 a.m. at Room @ 711, (Arlen Specter’s office) Hart Senate Office Building, all day.

Also on the agenda — visits to Maine Sens. Olympia Snowe and Susan Colllins’ offices.

Free Republic founder Jim Robinson is flying from his home in CA to Washington to lead the protest against the Porkulus Bill.

The purpose of this demonstration is to attempt to convince these Senators to vote against the bill.

A vote for cloture is expected to be held at 5:30  p.m. ET Monday  on the Senate floor.  The vote on the bill itself is scheduled for noon Tuesday.

Kristinn says the protesters will be there Monday and Tuesday both.  No agenda is yet set for Tuesday’s activities, as “we are winging our counterrevolution”.

Anyone interested in adding their voice to this protest, please plan to show up at the above location.  Even if you can’t be there at 10 am, go whenever you can.

“We want people to be there in person.  Don’t get yourself arrested, but let them know.  The fate of the nation is riding on this.”

Please post this at your sites, and give it as much advance publicity as possible.  Twitter it if you’re tweeting.  More info can be found here.
