Book says,
>> there is no doubt but that the principles he enunciates about the role of government in American life are as vital now as they were back in 1975

Principles remain valid for hundreds of years, not just 35 years. It's interesting that the liberals want us to declare that the principles of Reagan are archaic, isn't it? That's simply absurd. (Especially when current Democrat principles are hand-in-glove tied to Mr. Marx and Mr. Lenin of a failed experiment almost a full CENTURY old. And whose principles have dogged humanity and created human misery for a much longer time than that.)

It is true that any one specific solution - described as Reaganesque - might be out of date. But we should never turn our backs on the principles. Reagan's principles remain timelessly true.

Democratic plans are to increase as much as possible the number of Americans permanently dependent on government largesse, cook the census numbers in Democratic areas, and then offer amnesty to illegals, who along with the family members they will eventually import will become loyal Democrats. Thus the electoral dynamic will permanently favor the Democrats and their socialist agenda.

Book, I'm interested in whether your husband is beginning to see the light regarding Obama? Or is he constantly moving his internal goalposts to accommodate the suddenly radical leftward lurch that "campaigning to the middle" has taken?

(My wife has been in semi-shock ever since I explained to her that thanks to Obama and the Boomers, our 24-year-old son now owes at least 50 percent of every dollar he will ever make to the state. Isn't being a subject. . . er, citizen, wonderful?)

I think this is a great reminder you posted. I'm concerned about what is coming way and I can't help but think back to the 70's.
