For L/Ps, wealth really is a fixed pie. They can't understand how wealth is created through intellectual capital and incentives. The L/P version of economics that dominates our government today is a medieval view. Fact is, if their version of economics held true, we'd still be trading stone arrowheads and oxcarts. It's very telling that there is no senior decision-maker in the Obama administration that has ever had hands-on experience with that wealth-creation process.
