Another for the “there won’t always be an England file”
Bookworm on Mar 10 2009 at 8:25 pm | Filed under: England, Islam, Muslim violence
It’s not just that a furious Muslim mob jeered at British soldiers returned home from Iraq and Afghanistan, although that’s bad enough. What really got me about this story is the picture, about a third of the way down, of the Muslim women who joined in the protest.
Again, remember, contary to the meme on the Left that small groups of beleaguered Muslims must, by definition, be freedom fighters if they’re taking on the big ol’ west. Instead, what one must consider is the cause for which they fight. And when you look at those women, it should remind you, as it does me, why we, in the West, must resist Islamic fundamentalism, whether it comes packaged with bombs or PC whining.

Actually, I hope they do more of this because I think many Brits this time were really offended and better still, waking and smelling the coffee. I can just see “tolerant” Europe going ballistic on these folks, but by the time they do it’ll be like fighting in Gaza in London. I keep hoping that the Europeans will find their cajones, but I suppose it will have to get a lot worse for that to happen. Seeing these veiled women is so repulsive, let alone these men contorted in anger and hate of their adopted country. Doesn’t England have an oath of loyalty to the adopted country? If it does, deport these protesters for treason!
I agree. I read several British newspapers on line and the onlookers were well and truly pissed. Where are a bunch of soccer louts when you need them?
It keeps getting worse and worse. Folks, we are in the “frog-in-a-slowly-boiling-pot-of-water scenario here. News from The United States, not England:

Violent Intruders Attack Brooklyn Synagogues
Just your usual anti-Semitic Middle Eastener
(IsraelNN.com) For the second time in less than a week, a packed Brooklyn, New York, synagogue has been the target of threats of violence by intruders.
On Monday, according to Yeshiva World News, an Arab man in his mid-30s entered Boro Park’s ‘Sephardish Shul’ and began making proclamations of jihad. Members of a Jewish volunteer security organization, the Shomrim, apprehended the threatening individual. They held him until police officers arrived at the scene, arresting the suspect. Detectives spoke with the “Middle Eastern man” at a station house near the synagogue.
Our friend Joseph Cohen aka Jousef al-Khattab gets a mention in the article:
The recent attacks come just over a month after Chabad-Lubavitch World Headquarters at 770 Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn was targeted in a series of English-language jihadist videos posted on the Internet. The videos and accompanying texts singled out “770,” but also intimated that all Orthodox Jewish organizations were equally worthy of attack by Muslims.
The threatening material included images of the 770 synagogue and study house, pictures of the police van out front, and indications of which parts of the building are crowded at what times.
The source of the thinly-veiled threats, a group called Revolution Muslim, is domestic to the United States.

Allow me to repeat that last sentence, while noting they posted information on the synagogue as to which areas of it are most populated at which times of the day.

I have to figure out how to clean my mouse. Single-clicks are recording as double-clicks, at times, thus a double post snuck in there above. Apologies!
Isn’t any group that calls for the violent overthrow of the U.S. government liable to being outlawed and prosecuted?
Why aren’t these Islamic turkeys under federal investigation?
Also, isn’t an attack on a synagogue a “hate crime?”

Nonono, Charles. Of course not. Synagogues are _Jewish_ prayer places. Now _mosques_… That’s a different story.
