Belated Watcher's Council Results...

I've been remiss in posting these, due in large part to the process of returning to the house. So with sincerest apologies, here are some belated announcements of Watcher's Council results honoring some fine blog posts from around the internet......

No need to wonder why some parents prefer home schooling. Your son, did not get a history lesson - he got a personal opinion.

Soon enough, there will be some, that will insist that their college age children get their degree on line, rather than the 3rd degree from 'college officials'.

This is SO tiresome.

This school seems to have a problem with reading comprehension -- even when they wrote it themselves:

"... that would be disruptive."

The students ASKED their prof if she'd like them to pray.
She said she would.
It was JUST the two students and the prof.
Then the other prof came in and DISRUPTED this private moment.

They are right about it being about content which is clearly protected.

There IS NO SEPARATION of CHURCH and STATE in the Constitution. The libs cannot seem to grasp from our history, or from the document itself that it was meant NOT to keep religion out of government, or the public square, but rather to keep GOVERNMENT out of RELIGION.

This is not a difficult concept. The Constitution itself -- the actual document -- is DATED:

"Done in Convention ... IN THE YEAR OF OUR LORD (e.a.) one thousand seven hundred and Eighty seven..."

EVERY single daily session of both houses of congress AND the Supreme Freakin' COURT were THEN, and are now, 222 years later, opened in PRAYER! Public PRAYER, by PAID clergy!

I mean........?
