You really have to wonder what the hell is wrong with Sinise that he’s a talented artist, a good human being and a patriotic American. I thought that combination of attributes was illegal in Obama’s America. Still, notwithstanding the pressure on anyone affiliated with Hollywood to buckle down and toe the Leftist party line (some say “tow” the party line), Sinise has continued to be a stand-up guy, regularly performing for the troops and their families. Thank you for that. It’s one of the little spelling errors that drives me nuts. It’s a change in the idiom that is an indication of lack of familiarity with the culture. The other one that has seemed to be a very frequent one is “reigns” instead of “reins”. As in ” the reigns of power”.
Drives me nuts. Silly, I know, but it does!
Of course, as a long time ago friend of mine used to say…”that’s not a drive – that’s just a short walk!”
And by the way…don’t forget Sinese’s charity for the Iraqi children that he’s been running for about 5 years now. He’s done a lot of good things. He’s unfortunately one of a kind.
