I love the real Mommy tummy

I’m neutral about Julia Roberts, neither liking her particularly nor disliking her particularly as a movie star. I do approve, however, of the fact that she hasn’t nipped and tucked herself. As these photos show, she has the kind of tummy (a little round, a little crepe-y) that a real mother of three real children would have. It’s a beautiful antidote to all those pictures of stars who claim to have had children, yet show off smooth flat stomachs. Either those stars’ pictures are massively airbrushed, or they’ve had surgery, or they didn’t really have the kids, but let a surrogate do it instead. Julia Roberts is the real thing, and my hat’s off to her.

I’m with you on admiring a star who just allows herself to be “normal”, which Julia is for a 41-year old with three kids.
But, who is paying the reporter!! When you look at the photos, in what way is his verbiage justified? I mean this:
“As well as her slender figure, Julia’s tattoo tribute to her children was also on display.”
“Despite her enviable figure…..”
“Beach babe: Julia shows off her slender body as she checks out the view.”
Does the man imagine that we’re BLIND!?
She looks great!
I also really admire Jamie Lee Curtis for allowing herself to be pictured in a sportsbra and shorts so people could see what she looks like without make up and air-brushing. She looked great . . but normal. Not perfect.
On a side note, since I started working in a hospital, I’ve become very thankful for my less than perfect body. Most people don’t look that great au natural. I’m healthy (and I thank God for that) and I’m delighted to have a functioning body that looks ok in clothes.
I no longer care that I don’t look like a super model.
but let a surrogate do it instead.
Whenever the Left starts talking about the military obscene luxuries, the military expenditures that takes away money from their craptastic social slave auctions, and the Right’s “hypocrisy”, I think of Hollywood. They always give you the real deal, so long as you are looking.
They are the real deal on obscene luxuries and unearned wealth looted from the masses.
