I don’t think anyone is _condemning_ the Jews as a group for voting for what WE think is in their best interest, but obviously we see Obama as being detrimental to their interest, and wonder why they don’t see it the same way.

The truth is, most of us who consider ourselves conservatives probably don’t understand the thought processes of those who like to consider themselves “progressives”. I, for one, would really like to know just exactly what they are progressing towards.

No doubt about it, Obama is a nightmare for Israel. My only bit of optimism for the Jewish state is that their current leadership (Netanyahu, Barak, Oren) are all serious soldiers. Mr. Oren appointment as ambassador to the US was a ray of light as he is also a serious scholar. Back in my infantry days, there was a bit of folk-wisdom that went. “It’s better to have a soldier as a diplomat, than a diplomat as a soldier.

I had a long-held perspective that military service would not be a bad requirement for presidential candidates. I very much lost faith with my fellow American voters when they selected Clinton over GHW Bush.

Obama doesn’t support Jews, let alone Israel. When you vote in a man that will use racial tensions to undermine fundamental American strengths in order to redistribute wealth from working Americans to Obama’s tax cheating frauds, power mad Senators and special lobbyists, then you got a quaint notion of “self-interest” for the Jews.

Do the Jews have so much money that they wouldn’t mind having it stolen to pay for the obscene luxuries of Obama and his Democrat goon squad?

Are the Jews so careless of their children that they don’t mind Obama putting them in danger via Obama’s fundamental humiliation and weakening of America in the eyes of the world?

Somewhat related, I doubt the majority of AJs are very religious, which seems to have a direct correlation with support of Israel.
