Great, can't wait to hear and see today's 'speed reader' (hired by Congress) to read the climate bill or whatever they're calling it into the minutes today.

Only a short clip of this man reading to the applause of those that couldn't bear to hear what they had written was just too much for me. I wasn't sure if I was watching government inaction or a Barrett-Jackson auto auction on the Speed Chanel.

If there is any justice, the newly hired reader just sold a Chrysler to all of the legislators at full price and without warranty, of course.

Here's a good Annie Oakley story:

Circa 1889, she was touring Europe with the Wild West Show. At one stop, the newly-annointed Kaiser Wilhelm II was in attendance. As usual, Oakley asked for a volunteer to smoke a cigar while she shot the ash off the end of it. (Her husband always played this role when no other volunteer could be found.) To the horror of his courtiers, Wilhelm II came forward and assisted on the honor.

After the war began, Oakley wrote the Kaiser and asked if she could have a second shot...

Oh no ... according to VP Joe Biden, that execution was the real thing. The man who later ghosted Shakespeare's plays used an early camera obscura.
