Only pretending to be human

Whether it’s the pictures or the story itself, I found this disturbing at so many levels.  This person, both visually and behaviorally, seems to have left ordinary humanity far behind, and I don’t mean that in a good way.  In the old days, kind hearts would have said “she’s more to be pitied than censured,” but she now gets admiring British tabloid coverage.  I just can’t believe that this kind of tacit approval is good for the children.

Um, okay, I don’t get it. She looks pretty good now — she might go to the really grotesque extremes of some other female bodybuilders, but she hasn’t yet. The routine isn’t all that extreme — sex, dancing, long walks, three gym sessions a week. She’s even sleeping with boys instead of her old girlfriend.

My agreements with you are rare, but I have to concur with Charlie, she’s hardly gone into the extremes, such as http://www.eatliver.com/img/2007/2637.jpg. And actually, I think female bodybuilders who don’t go into extremes can certainly make fine role models – U.S.M.C. Cpl. Lisa Bickels being a case in point.

Now, the person in the picture has taken so many androsterones as to have effectively performance a sex-change. Beyond the obvious muscular hypertrophy, look at the face, the vivid changes in the mons veneris and labia, and the hair — long terminal hairs in the eyebrows, thinning, straw-like hair on the head.

    That’s no joke dysmorphic disorder.

If you study the photos closely and read the article all the way to the end, you see the profile of a very damaged, disturbed individual on so many levels.

People like this used to be condemned to the carnival circuit. Now they are being mainstreamed, which reflects on the state of society as a whole. Unfortunately, we really enable this kind of behavior in so many ways so, no surprise, we see more of it.

I don’t feel anything wrong here.

Maybe it’s just me, but so long as she isn’t harming those weaker than she, she can do whatever the hell she wants in my view. More power to her.

I thin my problem lies with the huge fake boobs and the tattoos. All together, they make her look like a Hollywood android. But I must say, WH, your link is even more scary.

As for me, I have no problem with healthy body building (I did it myself in years past), as long as the result isn’t android or monster. As for both looks, I’ve been assured by one who knows, that women only get that way with steroids.

hmmm, sorry, meant to say my “DISagreements” with you are few . . . . and as to the link, yes, scary indeed. There is a line where incredible conditioning crosses over into the freak show . . . . though that seems to be, as you note, when steroids are involved.

Now that was funny ; )

I can’t get to the link, it keeps telling me to go back to eatliver.com

k, saw wolf’s pic now. Very very funny ; )

I wouldn’t say “even more scary” for it is certainly “a lot more” of whatever you term it.

And I am unsure as to whether the person in the pink bra and undies is a man or a woman. It’s hard to tell given the cave man morphication of the skull and what not.

That’s another thing I like about propaganda. It is never as fugly, even at its worst.

Who cares? Like most of the stories tabloids cover, this doesn’t matter at all.

Indeed, Helen. The only bad things about white culture is the fact that white culture demonstrably proves tribalism, political nepotism, corruption, socialism, and parochialism are inferior products.

White cultural decadence, by itself, has no importance either way to you, when it does not affect your particular brand of racial politics.

Unlike the story about Bristol, which did matter very much to you Helen and to Obama’s other cult followers and fanatics.

Another “bad thing” about white culture, in your view.
